“The Kautapen Group, in partnership with Qualia Eyewear and volunteer medical staff, has launched an initiative in Córdoba to recycle used shotgun shells into prescription eyewear for children in need. After examining several hundred children, 162 received glasses in their choice of twelve frame styles. This project aims to enhance the quality of life for local children and promote environmental and social responsibility. We plan to expand this initiative and offer a line of polarized sunglasses to our clients, with profits supporting ongoing efforts to provide more eyeglasses.

In the remote villages nestled deep within the Santiago del Estero province, a remarkable group of women is trying to forge their own path and empower local women. These women are known as SachaMama, a name resonating with the essence of the forest, translating to “Mother of the Forest” in their native tongue.

Our company’s deep connection to Argentina’s native species and their habitats resonates profoundly with us. Over the years, we’ve traversed the Paraná River system, chasing golden dorado from the crystal lagoons of Pirá Lodge in the Iberá Marshlands to Suindá Lodge and Paraná River Outfitters along the Paraná’s sanbars and riachos.

A little over four years ago, Hurricane Dorian wreaked havoc on the northern Bahamas, devastating Abaco Lodge, Marsh Harbour, and most of Grand Bahama in its westward path. While the island’s infrastructure and communities have made significant recoveries, the lingering natural damage from the floodwaters requires our assistance.
